Tulsa - Bob's Club, inside the historic Cain's Ballroom at 423 North Main Street, plays host to an eclectic assortment of performers on Sunday, April 4, from 3 to 6 p.m. First up: the rocking sounds of Vagabonds, with Michigan import Gareth Suarez providing most of the vocals. Improv-based Milk Truck will close the show with their unique brand of acid jazz. Between the two bands: special appearances by the Daughters of the Desert Wind (offical bellydancers of the 2004 Oklahoma Renaissance Faire in Muskogee), Cheyenne & Co., and Flam Comedy Improv.
Thanks to the generosity of Cain's, proceeds will benefit the Serena Roper People to People Student Ambassador Fund. Serena, 13, is a remarkable young community volunteer with a goal of extending global peace and friendship as an ambassador to other youth around the world.
Tickets are $8 at the door. The bar will be open, and this is an all-ages, family-friendly event.
