Many bands strive for perfection; few are able to reach it. Jibe does just that with their new album.

How do you describe the music? Imagine a totally in your face wall of sound layered with intertwined melody, great solos and a vocalist unmatched in today's music scene. Uprising is the perfect description for this CD as each song is an emotional rush that grabs hold of your very being and pushes you to the edge of existence. Ben Jeffries drives home the beat with his hardcore drumming. Toby Bittenbender's amazing work on the strings is able to produce visual music that rivals your last acid trip (not that you ever did that kind of thing). Cory Tatro keeps things flowing with an energetic vibe on Bass. Then there's Joe Grah's amazing voice and gripping lyrics. The combination brings to life an album of untold proportions. Joe touches on a variety of feelings from deep chasms of sadness torment and anger to genuine rock 'n' roll rebellion bursting at the seams. Jibe even threw in a couple of ballads to give you a breather before sucking you back into unbounded rock mayhem. After you listen to this album you'll be left feeling energized and ready to start your own uprising.

The first track "Broken" kick-starts the album with a rush of raw energy. Kill Me Again is an emotional release of deep seeded feelings like those only Joe can express. In the track "In Between" Joe proclaims "Send out the dogs, I guess they're coming after me." Rewind takes a departure from the rest of the album as an emotional ballad of a love lost. Crush tells a story of tainted obsession gone awry that drags you through the darker side of a tortured soul. Yesterday's Gone is one of the more powerful "hit worthy" tracks on the album (In fact it's already a hit in several radio markets). Conversation is a hard hitting, harmonic roller coaster ride that won't let you go. The title track "Uprising" is an amazing adventure on its own, with lyrics like "A new consciousness awoke" and "Rise up all kindred souls" the song leaves you feeling like you're a part of something much bigger than life, the visuals of Toby's guitar really take root here. Finally, River is a softer song that brings a fitting end to this epic album.
