Former A Perfect Circle Bassist Paz Lenchantin has teamed up with Billy Corgan on his new project, Zwan.  If your not familliar with the band here's the lineup:  The guitar threesome is made up of former Smashing Pumpkin Billy Corgan, Matt Sweeney (formerly with Chavez and Skunk) and David Pajo (formerly with Slint and Tortoise).  The rest of the band is made up of former Smashing Pumpkin Jimmy Chamberlin on drums and the newly added Paz Lanchantin on bass. 

The band started touring across the West and Midwest back in November of last year with each show selling out in a matter of hours.  They have a wide range of songs from simple acoustic melodies to raging high-energy rock. 

With over 50 songs to their credit Zwan has already produced enough material to span an entire career for some bands.  They will be playing the Q101 Jamboree on May 18th along with Kid Rock, Tenacious D, The Strokes, Our Lady Peace, Unwritten Law, Quarrashi, Trik Turner, Dashboard, Hoobastank, Thursday and Earshot.
