The "ROCK-U SHOWCASE 2002 SUMMER TOUR" is a 12 city journey through 5 states in the South Central United
States bringing together bands, fans, music professionals and on-lookers to showcase the region's brightest and most prolific bands in front of the world's most powerful and influential a&r representatives, booking agents, managers, lawyers, publicists, and industry pros.  This showcase opportunity is one of the premier events in the nation and will prove to give unparalleled exposure to regional bands, as well as opportunities to expand their reach outside of their local area.

As part of the ROCK-U SHOWCASE 2002 SUMMER TOUR series, bands will be featured on www.rock-u.com, including a short bio, an mp3 and a quote about each participant band.  Fans will be given a once per week opportunity to vote for their favorite band - with the band receiving the most votes winning an all expense 4 day recording session at KRANZKE ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS in the Live Music Capitol of the World - - Austin, Texas.
